Full-stack developer at a casino management software company, working across web and mobile in Next.js and React Native. Over 3 years I've owned products end to end — from data model and API through to the user-facing layer — often as the sole developer, shipping to production and iterating with real users.

Selected work:

Gate Monitoring — Built solo a self-hosted computer-vision access-control service: face verification (ArcFace) and license-plate reading (YOLOv9 + OCR) with automatic bystander anonymization, behind a single authenticated API with a React admin dashboard. Runs as one Python/FastAPI process on low-cost edge hardware, with optional CUDA acceleration.

Valet Mobile App — Lead developer on a cross-platform React Native app for on-site valet operations. Engineered offline-first with a durable, strictly-ordered mutation queue that survives network dropouts and drains automatically on reconnect. Keycloak OAuth2, camera-based plate recognition, .NET backend. Mentored an intern through their first production project.

Management Hub — Built solo an internal admin suite (Next.js) now used daily to manage staff across multiple sites: a full identity and permissions layer over Keycloak, composable API middleware, live occupancy dashboards, and EN/ES internationalization.

Floor-Plan Builder — My first major solo build and core to the product suite: a drag-and-drop, pan-and-zoom canvas editor with custom rotation and grouping maths, paired with a live dashboard overlaying profit/loss and player telemetry. Designed the data model and integrated two independent REST backends behind centralized Redux state.

Player Kiosk — React Native self-service kiosk profiled and optimized to run smoothly on deliberately cheap, always-on hardware, interfacing cleanly with a complex multi-service API ecosystem.

I care about performance, clean architecture, and building things that hold up under real-world constraints.

Diagnosed and repaired hardware and software issues for both consumer and business clients, from failing drives and malware to full system rebuilds. Ran day-to-day storefront operations, sales, after-sales support, client relations, and small-scale marketing. This role put me in constant contact with non-technical users struggling to interact with technology — which is exactly where my instinct for intuitive, forgiving interface design was formed. It's the foundation of how I approach UX and user flows in every product I build today.

Sold consumer electronics, appliances, and IT products, with a strong emphasis on IT-related hardware and services, alongside after-sales support and troubleshooting. Spent every day translating technical concepts into plain language for non-technical buyers and matching the right products to their actual needs rather than the spec sheet. This sharpened both my communication skills and my ability to understand what a user genuinely wants versus what they say they want — something I carry directly into client work.
