As Deal Flow Manager, I am responsible for building and managing BeAngels’ startup pipeline by sourcing, screening, and qualifying high-potential early-stage companies for our investor network. I coordinate the end-to-end deal flow process — from first contact to pitch readiness — ensuring that each opportunity meets our investment standards and is presented clearly and efficiently to BeAngels members.

My role combines startup scouting, analytical assessment, and founder support, while collaborating closely with investors and ecosystem partners to maintain a strong, diverse, and consistent flow of investment opportunities.

With 7 years of commitment and support for more than 25 startups, Elev8te positions itself as a Belgian financing vehicle with a cross-border vision. While maintaining its roots firmly anchored in Belgium, Elev8te is extending its reach for the first time to Luxembourg and the north of France to provide essential financial support to projects within incubators closely linked to universities and academic ecosystems of this extended region.

Yanis Fares is an Investment Manager with 8+ years of experience in venture capital, startup financing, and portfolio management. Proven track record in sourcing, evaluating, and supporting high-growth startups across sectors including HealthTech, DeepTech, SaaS, ClimateTech, and Industry 4.0. Experienced in fundraising strategy, investor relations, governance, and board participation, with exposure to 300+ investment opportunities, 20+ SPVs, and a portfolio of 25+ startups. Passionate about connecting founders, investors, and innovation ecosystems to accelerate growth and create long-term value.
