Nicolas Leyssens

As a consultant, I assisted the Brussels Public Transport STIB/MIVB with their Testing efforts. Part of the Transversal Test Team, I worked on the autonomous train system by Hitachi (ATS) and the client's SCADA Energy system's integration, I acquired a relative expertise of the Transport sector by also working on the fleet's onboard systems in Linux. And later on, I have reinforced the Smartcharging project, coached a junior and produced deliverables shared with Carmedialab and Siemens.

I joined the Data Department to oversee our SAP module and data acquisition flows in production, with the goal of providing validation status and recommendations. After working in various positions within the company, I was able to deliver rapid responses to a wide range of questions and issues by verifying and adapting data in the SAP modules, which contributed to improving the reception rate of over 1.1 million IoT devices in Belgium.

My responsibilities included preparing and allocating work orders in the company's ERP system and coordinating with stakeholders. Drawing on my experience in the installation process, I was able to make accurate forecasts. In addition to my usual scope, I documented two feature propositions to improve workflow, both of which were later implemented by the IT department.
