I'm a senior data and software engineer specialising in real-time streaming and data platform engineering. Over the past 8+ years, I've built and scaled event-driven architectures using Kafka, Flink, Apache Iceberg, Scala, Databricks, and Kubernetes — mostly in high-volume, production-critical environments.
My recent experience is in the media sector, where I spent 6+ years at DPG Media designing the kind of infrastructure that has to work, every day, at scale. I enjoy complex technical challenges, high ownership.
I work primarily remote from Belgium through my own company . For Belgian clients, I'm happy to come on-site occasionally when it adds value.
