I work on a financial app of the government. Part of new team for rebuilding the webapp from the ground up in Angular and Java Spring Boot

CMDB2 (Configuration management database 2) is an application from flanders digital that acts as an interface to manage all configuration items within the organisation. These items are entities, persons, hardware/software components, applications, contracts/licenses.

The infopoint application exists to handle the business needs of workers and customers in the physical stores of yonderland. So that ranges from simply looking up products to requesting stock from warehouses, creating and following up on orders, handling after-sales services and more.

The goal of this project is to upgrade the existing Infopoint web application from Vaadin 8 to 22. This involves changing, finding and creating alternatives to a lot of web components used in the views from the previous version. I also have to add new features here and there based on a backlog of business requirements that are now possible to be picked up in the upgrade.

I’m also responsible for the support of the previous version together with other developers from the team.
