•  Interim senior management mandate supporting leadership transition, platform strategy definition and strategy change in a regulated banking environment.

•  Governs internal cloud, network, database and integration teams, as well as strategic service providers, including SLA management, performance, cost control and escalation. Managed 50 local FTE and 300 FTE fulfilling the outsourced managed services, through 4 direct reports and team leads. Stakeholder management of Director I&O, business leadership and external partners.

•  Holds end-to-end accountability for availability, resilience, security and operability of business critical IT platforms.

•  Translates enterprise and Infrastructure & Operations strategy into platform roadmaps, lifecycle decisions and investment priorities.

•  Acts as single point of accountability for platform-related operational risk, major incidents and continuity decisions.

•  Provides decision support and risk scenarios to Director I&O and senior management during platform and sourcing transitions, specifically the lift & shift to the cloud.

•  Interim IT restructuring and organizational change management role to realign IT systems, governance and teams to better support business goals and processes after departure of multiple managerial and technical resources.

•  Carry overall responsibility for the management of the day-to-day operations in an intricate IT Infrastructure environment, composed of various historic multi-vendor components

•  Lead, regroup and reinforce the IT support, system engineering, networking, database and project management teams to ensure knowledgeability and effectiveness under pressure

•  Develop a strategic IT restructuring plan to resolve critical and urgent issues which ensure IT supports guaranteed and uninterrupted business continuity

•  Manage the project portfolio to ensure the on-time, in-budget implementation of various initiatives, implementations and improvements in a complex IT infrastructure environment.

•  Manage, evaluate and renegotiate managed service contracts to align with the changing expectations of different stakeholders.

•  Align with the worldwide group IT policies and procedures by raising awareness, maturity and compliance to ensure risk reduction related to data protection, IT security and IT/OT

•  Digital transformation and governance leadership role, managing the ICT domain of the 19 municipalities and 17 public social welfare centres of the Brussels-Capital Region

•  Define a multi-year roadmap that ensures the alignment of the technical and business objectives

•  Lead the ICT track (architectural, infrastructure and applications) of the Local Government Digital Transformation Programme to digitise local public services

•  Create, propagate and maintain strategies related to the IT Infrastructure and Cloud Services throughout the municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region, ensuring performance and cost are balanced

•  Outsource legacy systems (transform corporate culture from application- to service management)
