Janneke Van Hulten

As a Full Stack developer I really enjoy seeing a product develop from the beginning to end. From a first database design and some frontend components, to a fully working website or app. I found out about my love for software development when I took a course on software engineering during my degree in Artificial Intelligence.

Since then I've worked as a Full Stack Engineer for a Dutch company, where the main stack was Typescript (+React, Redux) and Python (+flask). I was also challenged to get involved in the devOps side of things, including Kubernetes and AWS. Of course I'm also familiar with docker, git, bash, etc.

On top of that, I've worked as a freelancer for a company that creates mendix applications. My role was to build custom made widgets using react. Examples of such widgets:

- Google Maps Route Widget: Displays truck routes, including loading and unloading details at each stop.

- Custom Time Input Field: Tailored time entry solution ensuring accurate data input, even when users enter minimal digits.

- 3D Model Viewer for Dentistry: Enables the visualization of upper and lower jaw models both independently and combined.

Currently I work, mainly as a backend developer, for another Dutch company. I built an intricate calendar system that will be used worldwide.

I do not mind working on a project by myself, but I enjoy working together with others even more. Especially when a project allows the developers to be creative!
