J'ai aidé l'équipe chez Smart Tribune à réimaginer totalement le contenu – ainsi que le « flow » du contenu – sur la version anglaise de leur site web, qui a immédiatement augmenté le trafic vers le site et boosté sa puissance SEO.

En 2021, je vais faire la suite de cette collaboration en abordant un gros projet sur l'évolution totale de leurs sites web (français et anglais), pour que les sites ne soient seulement plus alignés, l'uns à l'autres, mais aussi pour favoriser la conversion ainsi que la génération de nouveaux leads (ex: clients potentiels). Pour ce projet désormais en cours, je joue le rôle du concepteur/rédacteur anglophone principale.

– J'ai développé un manifesto qui racontait l'histoire du nouveau thème de la conférence.

– J'ai réécrit (une extension du travail que j'avais déjà fait en novembre 2019) tout le contenu, selon le nouveau thème et la nouvelle stratégie de la conférence, sur le site du Club Talentsoft : https://www.club-talentsoft.com/

– J'ai relu et rédigé toutes les descriptions des keynotes, product workshops, panel discussions, etc.

– J'ai également préparé par avance 30+ « live tweets » pour le jour même de la conférence.

– J'ai relu un article de blog genre « thought leadership » pour la CMO.

– J'ai traduit plusieurs annonces (français vers l'anglais) et communiqués de presse.

Au-delà de tout simplement faire une traduction directe (mot-à-mot) des textes, je les ai plutôt adaptés et retravaillés, afin qu'ils s'expriment dans un bon anglais natif et selon des attentes d'un client potentiel anglophone.

J'ai traduit un article déjà écrit en français en ensuite l'ai retravaillé pour qu'il soit bien adapté pour un lecteur anglophone. Au final, cette petite mission est devenue un gros défi, car il fallait y ajouter un peu plus de storytelling pour bien connecter les points clés du texte (au moins, en anglais).

C'est néanmois un bon exemple de mon approche unique par rapport à la traduction : pour moi, ce n'est pas juste une traduction mot-à-mot mais plutôt, et par ailleurs, une traduction du sens, afin que le texte raconte une « story » claire et simple jusqu'au bout.
