I provide commercially useful, pragmatic and plain-language legal advice that can help you manage risk and make better business decisions.

I’m a generalist in-house counsel, which means I handle a broad range of day-to-day legal issues, and can recognize when specialist legal advice is necessary (and coordinate that advice). I’ve advised on a range of commercial, corporate and HR related matters, ranging from drafting and negotiating significant commercial contracts to writing HR policies and procedures, applying for regulatory licences, coordinating the provision of advice by external lawyers and managing legal projects and so much more.

I'm also avid to handling the day-to-day legal nitty-gritty that arise when working in-house as this is a great way to get to know the bussines and its stakeholders. Doing this I’ve developed excellent working relationships with executive management, boards, back office/operational staff, and front office/client relationship managers.

I pride myself on staying calm under pressure, managing high volumes of work, building lasting business relationships and keeping all the plates spinning at once. I’ve worked with a variety of clients and have a reputation for being easy to work with and adding value to business processes and decisions. I really do enjoy getting to know people and their business, helping them manage the legal issues.

I’ve dealt with regulators, foreign parent companies, subsidiaries and other stakeholders and also assisted clients during times of significant change (e.g. corporate restructure and sale of business).
