Joined for a one-year interim period to support the regulatory (CBI) authorisation, helping stand up the underwriting function, supporting the path to regulatory approval, and launching the business. . Governance & regulatory: PCF-18 accountability, Solvency II material-outsourcing oversight, chair of the Underwriting Committee, leading Technical Review on every prospective MGA.

• Business development: building the European MGA pipeline, structuring BAAs and reinsurance, developing broker, MGA and reinsurer relationships, closing deals.

• MGA lifecycle: selecting, negotiating and onboarding new MGAs.

Mandate: fix the fundamentals, develop excellence, deliver outperformance. Member of the executive management team, with underwriting authority and overall technical accountability for the P&L.

• · Portfolio scale: GWP €500M+ across Property, Construction, Engineering, Liability and Marine for large and multinational clients.

• · Performance: delivered COR 87% and €125M cumulative net underwriting result over four years, alongside top-line growth.

• · People leadership: set risk appetite and led 80+ trading underwriters across five countries to execute strategy. . Governance: ensured adherence to all underwriting governance and control requirements; embedded data-driven underwriting through third-party data, costing tools and portfolio management.

• · Portfolio management: led monitoring of risk exposures and accumulation in collaboration with actuarial pricing and reserving.

• · Led Liability and Financial Lines for Europe and MEA - international and large commercial risks. . Business development and functional management of pan-European underwriting teams. . Accountable for top- and bottom-line P&L; drove product evolution, innovation and portfolio change.
